In its Annual Report 2019, published on 9 April, MakoLab SA confirmed its good results presented earlier in its Q4 report. The upward trend observed in the previous years continued, with an increase in revenue by 36% and net result doubled compared to 2018. The strategy focusing on dedicated business solutions for global players from the automotive and financial sectors proved successful. Obviously, the current economic crisis affects the Company’s operations and plans for 2020. MakoLab’s management emphasises that they prepare for various scenarios and get ready to meet business challenges after the crisis.
I do not doubt that the present situation in the world economy is unprecedented. In a very short space of time, we had to shift entirely to a remote work model. This operation was successfully completed within a few days, during which no project was at risk of delay and our customers felt no discomfort in working with us. I want to emphasize that we had been prepared for such an emergency situation thanks to our investments related to the implementation of technical infrastructure and operating procedures compliant with the standards ISO 27001 and TISAX (an information security standard for the automotive industry),” Wojciech Zieliński says, the President of the Board of MakoLab SA. “Today I can proudly say that just these few weeks of working in new conditions have brought us a lot of positive feedback. Our customers see and strongly appreciate our determination to provide them with the highest quality and safety standards and ensure their business continuity in these hard times.”
says Wojciech Zieliński, President of the Board of MakoLab SA.
We have an excellent team and other resources necessary to operate in harder times. Together with our customers, we implement ambitious and far-reaching projects, which are the reason why this crisis has not affected us considerably today. However, even if the situation became significantly worse, we are determined to preserve what we have built so far. The present situation is unprecedented and full of unknowns, so it is difficult to create detailed long-term plans. Still, each crisis finally ends unveiling new opportunities and challenges. That is why right now we are already devising scenarios for the future. I estimate that many solutions being currently developed by us may become extremely important very soon. The needs are changing right before our eyes, requiring new operating models, solutions and tools. As an example we can name the online services market that has suddenly exploded and will remain the part of our business landscape for good. We want to and we must be prepared for such scenarios”
says Wojciech Zieliński, President of the Board of MakoLab S.A.
