New Renault UK website already published!

Our cooperation with Renault-Nissan has continued for the last 14 years. We have been involved in projects for Renault UK from nearly the beginning, while the milestone deployment of the first website from the ground up took place in 2008. At the beginning of April, the deployment process of the new version of Renault UK’s website was finalized. 

One of the main goals of the corporation was to improve customer and user experience on websites pertaining to all areas of business conducted by Renault worldwide.The leader and coordinating entity of several international teams is Digitas LBI – the digital branch of the world’s biggest marketing agency Publicis, with headquarters in London. MakoLab is one of the main partners involved in the project responsible for processes of integration with external systems, as well as a supplier of key components and technological solutions. The task and challenge for MakoLab was to integrate the new platform with several key modules included in the site’s ecosystem.
This mainly concerned integration with MakoLab’s original solution LMT (Lead Management Tool), which is one of the basic tools for supporting trade contacts.Integration of the system was not the only task set for us. We supported Renault UK in entering content in the CMS, designed contact forms, ran tests of the new site, and conducted a SEO-oriented audit. Moreover, Renault requested MakoLab to unify the appearance of existing microsites which remained outside of the main platform.Contact forms turned out to be the biggest challenge, being an essential tool in the process of obtaining clients. 
Their proper operation and analysis of data acquired through them is of critical importance for the process of providing high quality responses to potential clients. The Helios project is based on Adobe Experience Manager, a platform dedicated to marketing management of content, which is set to be used in all projects and marketing campaigns held by Renault. The Renault UK website has been designed within the Responsive Web Design paradigm. It has a clear, 3-element structure. In the “Vehicles” section, one may find information concerning the available range of Renault cars. The “Services” section is a source of knowledge about available forms of financing of a car purchase, conditions of warranty, or information for present owners of cars manufactured by Renault. “Discover Renault” presents the history of the brand, but also its engagement in sport projects, innovations and care for relations between employees. The new version of Renault UK’s website was unveiled on April 9th, 2015.

This virtual platform has something for everyone, with thousands of recipes and advice for all levels, all showcased in an innovative tool that has started to make its mark on the market. MakoLab is responsible for the ‘Mise en Place’, through developing and implementing the new graphic design concept.
