Online simulators for Toyota Financial Services

Online simulators for Toyota Financial Services

Published

Cooperation between MakoLab and Toyota Motor Europe has been successful for several years now. Since last year we also have the pleasure of working with the financial arm of the Japanese giant, Toyota Financial Services Corp. (TFS) for which we implement solutions supporting the decision-making process of car financing, ie online simulators.

The online simulators incorporated into the manufacturer’s and dealers’ sites allow users to quickly analyze the car purchase conditions using financial instruments such as leasing or credit. From this perspective, current access to basic financial parameters (eg. interest rate or required own contribution), as well as results transparency, should be considered as the most important determinants of the suitability of such solution.
MakoLab is responsible for the development of the existing online simulation tool towards a higher-class user experience and highly efficient data management. The solutions is intended to be simple and user-friendly. By setting only a few parameters the user is immediately provided with a financing simulation, based on real-time and offer-specific data. The operation is supported by highly efficient data flow infrastructure and advanced Back Office Application, providing Toyota with global-to-local management in areas such as financial data and brand identity.
Online simulators have already been implemented for Toyota and Lexus websites in Spain, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Sweden with further implementations planned in other countries. The tool itself has been commended for its functionality and usability and is now projected to be developed within marketing and back-office areas- to be even more multi-dimensional business tool.
