On 14 August 2020, MakoLab S.A. published the second quarterly report this year. We managed to maintain a dynamic growth in revenue. Despite the economic upheaval and necessary organizational changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in the first six months of 2020 our revenue increased by 26% as compared to the last year. Our company quickly adapted to the new situation and remote work. All projects are carried out without interruptions and previously planned development activities are intensified.
Looking back over the last few months, I can confidently say that the COVID-19 pandemic and a change in the work model caused by the virus have not affected the business effectiveness of MakoLab. The procedures we had developed earlier, investments in infrastructure, implemented standards and the organizational culture which we have been building for years enabled us to quickly adapt to the new circumstances and working conditions. We finished all projects and performed all obligations on time and with the planned quality. On such occasions, I always congratulate and thank the whole MakoLab team for accepting challenges and fulfilling their tasks.
- says Wojciech Zieliński, President of the Management Board of MakoLab S.A.
I think that we successfully got through the difficult initial stage of the pandemic. We are ready to keep up the new organizational model in the long run. Moreover, we have developed a foundation which now allows us to focus on carrying out the strategy of a digital project house which implements custom-made digital systems serving as the basis for new operating models. We will do it in close and long-term cooperation with our clients. We are also going back to development projects, which were partially suspended after the outbreak of the pandemic. In the second half of the year, we are planning to strengthen our market presence in Germany. We have already carried out successful projects there and we regard the German market as very promising when we consider our experience and competencies. We also continue to implement more certified standards, which help us compete for more demanding projects with higher budgets.
