The Łódź Special Economic Zone is implementing the S5 – 5G Technology Accelerator project - the first acceleration program in Poland to support the development of innovative 5G solutions. The application submitted by VirtualCar360 successfully passed the recruitment phase and has been accepted into the program. Thanks to the support obtained under the project, the VC360 platform will be expanded to enable presentation of vehicles in the form of real-time videostreaming and will also become a comprehensive online tool for selling vehicles.

The implementation of high-quality videostreaming in 5G technology is a new quality of e-commerce in vehicle sales. Thanks to the real-time video presentation, the Customer will be able to watch the vehicle remotely "live" in a quality identical to an inspection at the place of sale. By talking to the dealer, the Customer will be able to look at the vehicle’s details and mark them for the further sales process. Real-time video presentation also guarantees that we see the vehicle in its actual condition, which allows us to build trust in the seller and the entire sales process online. The project results should significantly change the attitude to automotive e-commerce and expand the scope of the online stage in completing the sales transactions.
says Michał Hertel, Head of Communication and Business Development at MakoLab.
To increase the chances for full transfer of the vehicle sales process to the Internet and the inclusion of various types of vehicles in addition to passenger cars, we need solutions utilising the latest technologies, enabling access to products at a level similar to face-to-face contact. From this perspective, the key to the project is the implementation of sales activities in the model of high-quality real-time video presentations and a complete e-commerce feature adapted to the needs of various types of vehicles
says Andrzej Wrona, CEO of Virtual Car 360.
